Proficiency-Based Education: Approaches for measuring and fostering student mastery of learning
outcomes.

Virtual or Augmented Reality: Immersive technologies transforming the learning experience.

Digital Content Accessibility: Strategies for digital accessibility to enhance the educational experiences of
students with disabilities and promote equity for all learners.

Blended and Online Learning: Innovative approaches to expanding student access through flexible
formats.

EdReady Implementation: Effective use cases for this personalized learning tool to improve math and
English outcomes.

This year, we’re focused on capacity building and practical solutions to help educators
approach teaching and learning differently. We will accept proposals for 60 minute sessions
and 120 minute interactive workshops (BYOD) in the following broad themes: Artificial
Intelligence in Education; Proficiency-Based Education; Online Content Accessibility;
Virtual or Augmented Reality; Blended and Online Learning; and EdReady Implementation.
We are also open to your ideas on innovation, feel free to propose!

The Symposium schedule will be built around conversation and collaboration, along with time to take advantage of the
beautiful University of Montana campus and the surrounding Missoula area. The symposium will start on the morning of
Tuesday, July 15, 2025 and will end at noon on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
